Abstract (italiano)

The importance of the lexicon is fundamental in the semiotic work of Paolo Fabbri for several reasons. First, it allows to differentiate the organizational criteria of the theoretical approaches and the methodological applications of the discipline. Second, it constitutes a fundamental resource in the diffusion of the uses and applications of semiotic methodology. An overview of the corpus of articles published in Italian and Spanish shows the individual use of the lexicon, as well as their participation in lexicographic work but also allows to identify the operational definition of the concept, from which derive the recurrent pedagogical uses in the teaching and in the academic reflection of the Italian semiologist.
