Herman Parret

Herman Parret is Full Professor Emeritus of Philosophy of Language and Aesthetics at the University of Leuven (Belgium).
He has teached in several countries, included France, Italy, US and South America. He has published more than 200 articles in French, English and Dutch concerning Pragmatics, Philosophy of Language, Visual and Textual Semiotics and Aesthetics and Theory of Arts. His works have been translated in italian, spanish, portuguese, romanian, russian, korean, turkish and japanese. His main interest is now to build up a dialogue between different disciplines, in order to find a global frame for humanities.
